PGAD warrior and conference attendee Linda Cataldo shared highlights of the ISSWSH Conference:
"The conference was an incredible experience and we were all excited for the opportunity to share with this community about PGAD. The first highlight came from meeting Dr. M. Waldinger from the Netherlands, the "grandfather of PGAD" who discovered that the TENS Unit can be used to treat some PGAD patients.
Our team later discovered that the head of the Kinsey Institute, Dr. Carter, was unaware of PGAD when I asked her a question at an open mike session after her talk about Oxytocin/sex/ and the brain. Much talk ensued, and now I think that we may see some activity as far as research from their end."
